2018 Schedule of Events. Next year's schedule will probably be similar, with different entertainment.

World's Best Burgoo

Craft Market
Food court - Hamburgers - Hot dogs
Butterfly pork chops - Fries

Homemade Pies & Cold Drinks

Burgoo kettle service (sales of soup in quart-sized or larger containers) begins at 7:00 a.m. on both days. Kettle service is usually suspended in mid-morning. Lunch lines began forming around 10:30 for soup sales by the bowl. Food line sales continue until the soup runs out, usually around 7:00 p.m. If you are driving from a distance to get burgoo, please note the above times so you will not be disappointed.

Proceeds from these sales help support community activities.

Connecting with Friends

Connecting with friends at the Burgoo? Few people have been successful getting a good cell phone signal while in the middle of town (something about the burgoo vapors...) You can always leave a message at the Information table in the park, but otherwise, you'll have to rely on the good ol' fashioned method of face-to-face conversation.
