Preparations for soup-making begin earlier in the week, and volunteers are particularly welcome on Thursday (Sept. 7th) to help clean and prepare fresh vegetables for the soup.

What happens at the Arenzville Burgoo? This is usually a two-day celebration and is family-oriented. Games, carnival rides, concessions, contests, and a pet parade are attractive for the kids.
